Christmas update: our allowances have expanded

With the festive season now in full flow and everyone getting ready for the holidays we wanted to wish everyone a very merry Christmas. As well as that, we have two exciting updates we wanted to share!

Underlying policies

The other day we got some great news from our underwriter that we've been waiting to hear for ages. Up until now to use Cuvva the car you were borrowing needed to have an underlying policy in order for Cuvva to work. Starting from today (21st December 2016) this is no longer the case. Yes that's right, you can now use Cuvva on cars without an existing policy. Its pretty major and one of our most requested features so we're really happy to be able to roll this out in time for the holidays.

Learner Drivers

In the new year we will start be able to cover learner drivers who want to get in some extra practice between lessons. We will share more info on this closer to launch but if you have a provisional licence and are between the ages of 17-45 then you will be able to use Cuvva to help prepare for your test. Of course, you'll still need a responsible adult in the car with you. 😀
