Even though your trust your friends and family, we know you're likely to still have a few questions about how the insurance works and what happens if things go wrong.
There's no need to get in touch with your insurance company
Once you approve someone as a driver, the person borrowing your car can use Cuvva to buy a temporary policy. So all you need to do is give them the car keys.
If someone has an accident while driving your car, it won't affect your no claims bonus
The person borrowing your car will have their own insurance policy with Cuvva, which is separate to your insurance. So your cover won't be affected if they need to make a claim.
