When you buy a pay-monthly subscription, you can select a start date between 2 days and 3 weeks in advance. At the moment, you can’t start your cover immediately after you pay.
That’s because we need to verify your details - and we can’t make any changes to your policy once it’s started.
So if we do need more information, or there are any other issues with your policy, we need enough time to get in touch and try to resolve the issue.
We’re working on offering immediate start dates for our subscription cover (along with some other cool features!) in the app soon.
Whatever date you book your insurance for, the policy will always start at midnight. So if your start date is the 13th, you'll be covered as soon as the clock hits 00:00.
