When you log in to your Cuvva account, we’ll send a “magic link” to the email address you signed up with.
Just open your emails and click the link. It’ll take you straight back to the app, and you’ll be logged in!
Just so you know, you can log in on the app. You can't view your account details (or buy insurance) on the website.
Using a magic link is often safer and easier than having account passwords. That's because:
Links can only be used on the phone that you want to log in on. So once you log in, we can be certain that it’s you.
This helps prevent misuse, and it also means that you don’t have to verify yourself when you chat to us in customer support.
It’d be much more difficult for someone to hack into your account, as they’d have to have full access to your email account in order to log in.
And if a password that you use elsewhere was to be leaked (touch wood!) your Cuvva account would still be safe.
All you need is access to your email account - so no extra passwords to remember!
Make sure that you’re opening your link on the same device as your Cuvva app. It won’t work on your desktop or your tablet, or on a different phone.
Remember that your magic link will expire after 5 minutes, so be sure to open it straight away. If it’s been longer than 5 minutes, just go back to the app for a new link.
If you haven’t received a magic link, you should:
Make sure the email address is right - small typos are the most common problems
Check your junk/spam/promotions folders
If this doesn’t work, get another magic link in the app. Be sure to wait 5 minutes between each try, though.
