Your APR (interest rate) can go up if you have a lower credit score. And if they decide not to insure you as a result of those checks, your credit score could go down.
We don’t do hard credit checks, because our monthly subscription doesn’t require a credit agreement.
We’ll still do a ‘soft’ check that may show up on your credit report. But don’t worry, this doesn't affect your credit score.
Once you’ve got a quote, we’ll text you a link which you can use to download the Cuvva app. You’ll need to be on the app to buy a policy.
Make sure that the account you’ve created is in the driver’s name.
If you’re not the driver, you should ask them to take over at this stage - you can’t use Cuvva to buy insurance for someone else.
