Contacting customer support

 If you need to get in touch with us, the easiest way to do so is to chat to us in the app.

But you can also get in touch through the website (using the little speech bubble button in the bottom-right corner), or by emailing support@cuvva.com.

We’re available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And on average, we’ll get back to you within 1 minute.

How to get in touch through the app

To get in touch through the app, tap the speech bubble in the top-right corner of the app screen.

It looks like this:

You can also get in touch by tapping the profile button in the top-left of the screen, and then tapping “Chat to customer support” in the “Support” section of that menu.

Underneath that, you can tap “Previous chats” to check back on old conversations you’ve had with our customer support teams.

We don’t (usually) handle claims

Cuvva’s an insurance broker, not an underwriter. If you need to make a claim or report an incident, you’ll usually need to speak to the underwriter of your policy.

If you have a temporary car insurance or learner driver policy, you’ll have to speak to the underwriter. You can find their phone number in your policy documents.

You can also get in touch with us through the app, and we’ll give you the number you need to call.

Things are a little difference if you’ve got a travel insurance policy. If you need to make a claim on your travel insurance, you’ll normally need to get in touch with us directly.

But if you’ve got a medical emergency on your hands, you should speak directly to the underwriter. As with our car insurance, you can find the underwriter’s contact number in your policy documents. And you can get in touch with us to get the right phone number if you don’t have access to your policy documents.

Why we don’t offer phone support

There’s no contact number for Cuvva. And that’s because we think it’s faster and more efficient to run our customer support through the app. It means:

  • Our customer support team can talk to multiple customers at once – which means no big queues
  • We can check your account details straight away – so we don’t have to ask you a bunch of unnecessary questions about your personal details
  • It’s generally quicker than sorting things out over the phone

But if there’s a genuine reason you’d struggle to get support through the app, let us know. We always try to make whatever adjustments we need to help our customers. 👍
