Why can't I enter my licence into the app?

There are a few common reasons why you might not be able to enter your driving licence details to the Cuvva app.

Here's a couple of things you might want to check:

Your account name matches what’s on your driving licence: Don’t forget any middle names!

Your date of birth has been entered correctly: If you’ve entered the wrong date of birth, the app won’t recognise your licence.

You don’t already have an account with us: You can only have one Cuvva account — if you can’t access your original account, or you don’t remember making one, just chat to our support team.

If that doesn’t still work, just send a photo of your licence to our customer support team. They should be able to help.

We won’t be able to cover you if you don't have a GB driving licence

Sadly we can't insure drivers with International licences, or British licences issued in Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, or the Isle of Man.
